Techub News reports, according to CryptoSlate, that the Ethereum Foundation recently indicated to developers that it will shift its focus in ecosystem development from pursuing speed to security and plans to promote zkEVM to meet a minimum 128-bit security strength standard before 2026. The foundation warned that without formally verified reliability, attackers could rewrite on-chain states, making 'high-performance proofs' a risk point. The foundation also stated that it will provide security review and assessment tools in the future and will prioritize strengthening formal verification and anti-attack capabilities while promoting scalability.
