I have seen too many people, their accounts were once so beautiful that they couldn't help but share screenshots.
But the outcome often ends up being the same—when the pullback comes, the profits return the same way they came in, and even the principal gets a hit.
Where does the problem lie? It lies in those few words: "If it goes up a little more, I will run away."
When it rises, they are reluctant to leave, always thinking, "If it goes up a bit more, I will sell";
When it falls, they are unwilling to admit defeat, comforting themselves with "It will rebound soon."
You think you are betting on profits, but in reality, you are waiting for risks.
The cruelest part of the market is this:
It specifically reverses when you are the most greedy,
And it strikes when you are the most confident.
I have also paid this kind of tuition.
Once, the market was going extremely smoothly,
The floating profit was already considerable,
The planned take-profit point had long been reached.
But I didn't leave. The reason was simple:
"I feel it can still push further." And the result?
It did push, but in the opposite direction.
In just a few K lines, more than half of the profits were eaten back,
And my mindset got all messed up. At that moment, I suddenly understood:
The real danger is not earning less,
But that you start to be reluctant to win.
