Real Position Calculation Example (Copy Exactly)

Do not place orders based on feelings, but survive solely on numbers.

Many people get liquidated,

because they haven't calculated how much they will lose before placing an order.

This template,

you just need to calculate according to it,

you can lock the "liquidation risk" outside the system.

1. First determine an "insurmountable number"

👉 Maximum allowable loss per trade

Rule:

Single loss ≤ Total capital of 1%–2%

📌 Example Account

Total account capital: 10,000 U

Take 1% risk control

👉 Maximum single loss = 100 U

⚠️ Note:

It's not what "you can psychologically accept",

it's mathematically not allowed to exceed.

2. Determine the stop-loss point (prior to position)

Assumed trading plan

Trading Variety: BTC Perpetual

Entry Price: 40,000

Technical Stop-Loss: 39,600

👉 Stop-Loss Margin = 1%

📌 Up to this point,

you have not placed an order, just planning.

3. Reverse calculate the "maximum open position"

Core formula (save directly)

Position Value = Maximum Allowable Loss ÷ Stop-Loss Ratio

Substituting data

Maximum Loss: 100 U

Stop-Loss Ratio: 1%

👉 Position Value =

100 ÷ 1% = 10,000 U

4. Decide on leverage, not pull leverage first

Assuming you choose 5 times leverage:

Actual margin used =

10,000 ÷ 5 = 2,000 U

📌 This means:

Even if the stop-loss is hit,

you only lose 100 U

Account remaining 9,900 U

5. Is this order worth making? A quick judgment

Look at the profit-loss ratio

Assuming your take-profit target:

Target Price: 41,200

Increase: 3%

👉 Profit Space = 300 U

👉 Loss Risk = 100 U

📌 Profit-Loss Ratio = 3 : 1

Orders with a profit-loss ratio < 2,

confirming again should not be made.

6. Complete pre-order self-checklist (copy)

Before placing an order, ask only 5 questions:

1️⃣ Have you calculated the maximum loss clearly?

2️⃣ Is the stop-loss a technical level or an emotional level?

3️⃣ Is leverage the final decision?

4️⃣ If the stop-loss is hit, will I lose control of my emotions?

5️⃣ If this order is not made, will it affect the account?

📌 If you cannot answer one,

then this order should not be placed.

7. Why can this template "prevent liquidation"?

Because it does three things:

🔒 Locks in losses in advance

🔒 Turns leverage into a tool, not a weapon

🔒 Excludes emotions before placing an order

Summary (the bottom line for retail investors)

You do not survive by making a big profit once,

but by calculating clearly before placing orders countless times. $ETH #ETH走势分析 $BTC
