MicroStrategy is not buying Bitcoin anymore?
From the data of the first two weeks of December, MSTR purchased about 21,290 BTC, including 10,645 BTC purchased during the week of December 8-14.
On December 1, MSTR announced the establishment of a "USD Reserve," with initial funds used to pay preferred stock dividends and debt obligations.
MicroStrategy netted $747.8 million through stock issuance from December 15-21, increasing the USD reserve to $2.19 billion, but did not purchase any Bitcoin, breaking the recent weekly buying routine.
However, the market speculates that this may include: managing financing costs (timing of stock issuance), waiting for a lower BTC price to enter, or responding to the approximately 30% volatility of BTC dropping from its October high.
