Binance Square has banned BaseAp*, and posts related to this theme cannot be published; BaseAp* must be censored.
Binance Square focuses on "centralized Web3 user social", where users' social accounts are their exchange accounts and KYC must be done first, with a strict content review mechanism in place.
After BaseAp* eliminated Farcaster in the Base ecosystem, the social module focuses on decentralized social.
Currently, the proportion of Web3 users migrating to BaseAp* is still a bit low; perhaps offering a few million U in rewards could help to continue broadening the user base.
Unfortunately, BaseAp* also needs to comply with regulations in many countries, including users from Singapore, the UK, and Italy, all of whom are excluded from the BaseApp's new user activity rewards.
In other words, BaseAp* is not completely decentralized; it is a semi-centralized app.
