X official staff member Nikita pointed out that since X launched the #Cashtags trading pilot feature on Tuesday night, X has driven approximately $1 billion in transaction volume globally.

X's #Cashtags trading pilot (Trading Pilot / Cashtags pilot) is similar to the tag search function for stocks/cryptocurrencies, allowing users to directly view real-time K-line price charts for stocks and cryptocurrencies through #Cashtag.

Since X does not have stock brokerage and cryptocurrency trading licenses, this trading pilot project mainly collaborates with third-party institutions like Wealthsimple, and related stock and cryptocurrency transactions occur on third-party trading sites, with X primarily providing user traffic.

After much anticipation, the Trump family's #WLFI token unlock proposal has arrived:

1. The tokens locked by advisors, institutions, partners, founders, and team members—totaling 45,238,585,647 WLFI—will be subject to a 2-year lock-up period (cliff) + 3-year linear release after choosing to participate, and 10% must be burned. A maximum of 4,523,858,565 WLFI will be permanently destroyed.

2. Early supporters (users who participated in both rounds of ICO public offerings): All 17,043,666,558 locked early supporter tokens will be adjusted to a 2-year lock-up period + 2-year linear release. Full retention, zero destruction.

Holders who do not actively accept the new proposal will continue to be locked indefinitely under the original terms.

So either accept it, or it will be permanently locked if you do not.

What a pitfall, is this really a proposal that requires community voting?

To be honest, if the blockchain gaming track doesn't take off, there probably won't be another opportunity to attend the Web3 conference in Hong Kong. In October, I won't need to travel for work; I can just participate in Token2049 in Singapore right at my doorstep...

So I'll continue to hang on this blockchain gaming tree, not taking ads or singing praises for projects to attract people. Being a small spender and a pure player is quite nice. I'll take some time to write project analyses and build my senior blockchain gaming community, observing while I play to see if there are any capable blockchain gaming projects that can produce a few promising products, gain some popularity, and last a bit longer.

This month, I still have two project analyses to write:

1. Analysis of Cross/Nexus, the only blockchain gaming project exhibitor at the 2026 San Francisco GDC Game Developers Conference

2. Outlook on the Web3 business of Xsolla, the leading payment provider in the global gaming industry

I really haven't received the testing invitation for the new game Atia's Legacy at @Axie Infinity . I haven't received any replies for pre-registration and the pre-test email registration, so I had to privately ask Gabby, the founder of YGG, for some playtest codes to try out myself. I also wanted to get some benefits for my KYC chain game player community friends. I was honored to be referred by Gabby to Jihoz, the founder of Sky Marvis, who personally arranged for me a generous total of 41 test codes.

The new game Axie Infinity is a mobile/PC cross-platform MMO. The test version is still single-player gameplay, where players use their own Axie crabs to battle monsters, collect dropped coins to upgrade equipment and character skills, and can also buy other Axie characters with different attributes to train. Then, they pay a coin ticket to enter the dungeon, and each character only has one life; if they die, they must exit and start over.

This test currently doesn't allow direct gold farming, but there is a leaderboard, and the players who reach the highest dungeon levels will receive rewards.

After playing for a few hours, I feel that the combat experience and controls are very smooth. Technically, I'm still a bit inexperienced; I can currently only reach the 2nd level of the 10-level dungeon.

Thinking about the 7 Axie NFTs I bought for 2000u in 2021 that can be activated for use in this new game makes me a bit excited.

Wrapping up my GDC trip to San Francisco in March.

It's the first time I booked my hotel with a Decentralized Travel Agency @NOMADZxyz and paid with USDC on Solana.

The hotel check-in was quite smooth with no difference from my former booking through trip.com, Agoda or on GDC website.

The price shown here was about 30u more than the Web2 same-day booking options mentioned above.

But the 30u price difference can be neglected considering there will be some extra USD/SGD conversion fees if to pay with my Singapore OCBC credit card.

And paying in USDC on Solana was quite convenient as I have hoarded some SOL 、USDC and USDT on Sonala.

The only concern is the reimbursment: I am working for a China-based company. So this invoice which addresses USDC as payment currency might be rejected by the commany Finance.

Hope it went through, LOL.

Why am I still writing about blockchain games?
