But MACD shows that selling pressure is gradually weakening → it may just be a “price suppression” phase.
The issue is:
Price decrease ≠ actual weak market.

• The Strait of Hormuz is congested → threatening 20% of oil supply

I looked at the ETF cash flow data today and felt a little… hesitant.
$BTC is still steadily attracting money, not too dramatic but very “sure-handed”. It’s like no matter how much the market shakes, institutional money still sees BTC as the safest place to park.
On the contrary, $ETH has seen significant capital outflows. In fact, I don’t think this is just a simple short-term issue. It feels like the cash flow is temporarily “risk-averse” with ETH, or at least hasn’t found a strong enough reason to maintain a large position at this moment.
As for $Solana with $XRP , the inflow is small, but I see it as more of a signal than an absolute value. It’s like the cash flow is starting to “test” names that were previously overlooked.
Personally, I find this picture quite clear: money is no longer running around randomly but is being very selective. On one side is BTC – almost defaulting as “defensive”. On the other side are altcoins like SOL, XRP – exploratory in nature. As for ETH, it’s in a somewhat… precarious state, not necessarily the safest, but not attractive enough to break out.
I can’t confidently say this is a long-term trend, but if this situation lasts a few more weeks, it may no longer be a simple “correction.”
The question I’m asking myself is:
is this just cash flow temporarily avoiding ETH, or a sign that ETH’s position in the eyes of institutions is starting to genuinely change?
