Justin Sun, founder of Tron (TRX), has reportedly suffered a $60 million loss linked to World Liberty Financial (WLFI), a DeFi project backed by former U.S. President Donald Trump. The loss comes as Sun’s WLFI tokens remain locked and inaccessible.
According to blockchain analytics platform Bubblemaps, Sun has been blacklisted by WLFI, preventing him from moving or selling his tokens. Over the past three months, the value of these locked holdings has dropped sharply.
Why Were Justin Sun’s WLFI Tokens Frozen?
The dispute began in September, when Sun transferred about $9 million worth of WLFI tokens to another wallet. The WLFI team responded by freezing his assets, accusing him of possible price manipulation. Sun criticized the move, calling the action unfair, but the restrictions remain in place.

Justin Sun reportedly invested around $175 million in Trump-related crypto projects. This includes $75 million in WLFI and $100 million in the TRUMP memecoin, making him the largest holder of the TRUMP token.
