In just minutes:
Over $20 BILLION in positions were liquidated.$ETH
Nearly $900 BILLION in market value was wiped out.$BNB
Large caps dropped 60-70% almost instantly.
Traders were wiped out. Portfolios were destroyed. Confidence in the market took a heavy hit. And to this day, nobody knows what really happened.
Since then, crypto has felt different. It's almost disconnected from the rest of global markets, with every rally fading fast, even on good news.
Now I just hope the Clarity Act gets signed into law soon, so we can finally put an end to this manipulation.

In both the 2018 and 2022 cycles, the $BTC /Gold ratio bottomed after exactly 10 red monthly candles from its peak.
Since the November 2024 peak, BTC/Gold has now closed 10 red monthly candles. If the pattern holds, the bottom could be in.
And the price action backs it up. Since February 2026, we've had a US-Iran war, high inflation, and Fed uncertainty, yet BTC/Gold is holding higher. That's a sign of strength.
If history repeats, we could see money rotate out of Gold and into Bitcoin, a shift that could last the next 2-3 years.

That means for every $4 of orders, only $1 worth of shares actually gets allocated. Most retail investors will get a fraction of what they asked for or nothing at all.
And yet instead of walking away, they are finding ways to put in even more money to maximize whatever small allocation they might receive.
A 33 year old PR manager in New York saved $6,500, asked her best friend for a $5,000 loan, then applied for a bank loan. Both said no. She is still buying everything she has.
A 48 year old marketing executive in Indianapolis has already poured tens of thousands into a fund holding SpaceX shares before the IPO even opens. He is putting in more on Friday. His reason: "I'm willing to overpay just to say I'm part of the thing."
A 26 year old in Austin has set aside $25,000 and is not even concerned whether his order gets filled at the IPO price.
A real estate professional in Orlando who can watch SpaceX rockets launch from his backyard is investing tens of thousands for himself and his two teenage sons. "It's a generational business," he said.
