📊 Tokenized assets market breaks $10B — and it’s only the beginning
Tokenization of real-world assets (RWAs) has grown 10x over two years: from $1B at the start of 2024 to $10B today. Binance Research forecasts potential of up to $6.78T — if tokenization reaches at least 4% of the global market for stocks, commodities, and ETFs. That’s a 645x increase from current levels.
What Binance statistics already show:
— 80% of bStocks traders are from developing countries
— 93% of trades are fractional. The average trade size is just $18.81 with an asset price of about $680
— Peak weekly trading volume reached about ~$20B
— In 2026, average weekly volume will be $735M
Why it matters:
— bStocks trade in USDT — no SWIFT transfers and no bank fees (on average 3.6% + $40 per transaction can be avoided)
— Fractional ownership: starts from $5, you don’t need $680 for a whole share
— 24/7 trading — while stock exchanges are closed on weekends, bStocks continue trading
🔥 The SPCXB (SpaceX) case: On Friday night, the tokenized asset SPCXB and the traditional SPCX were priced almost the same. Over the weekend, the traditional market was halted, while SPCXB kept trading. By Monday’s open, SPCX was up +6.5% — and SPCXB had already reached the same price on its own over the weekend.
