My thoughts on Intel have indeed succeeded, and now Intel's stock price is $37, far higher than the $20 when I first emphasized its strategic importance as a mature foundry giant in the US and Europe.
Manufacturing chips on American soil has critical strategic significance. In short: no chips, no economy, no defense. The world of comparative advantages is gone — replaced by a world of 'maximum lethality.' That means artificial intelligence, drones, and all things high-tech. If you want to have them, want to project power, you must be able to manufacture them, not to mention actually use them.
