In this article, I will share many developments and plans that are crucial to the Internet Computer ecosystem.
In the past few months, I have been using the term 'Internet Computer 2.0,' which is increasingly related to the importance of hosting self-written applications (which users create through non-technical interactions with artificial intelligence) and providing mainstream cloud functionality.
But there are other changes, including DFINITY 2.0, ongoing work to create for-profit businesses in the ecosystem, and plans to promote the deflationary optimization of network token economics.

This is my second chapter exploring ICP - to be honest, I didn't expect to finish it so quickly. After the first part was published, one question kept lingering in my mind: why have blockchains failed to support real applications for so many years?
The deeper I dive into the research, the clearer the answer becomes: most blockchains maintain a permanent ledger.
Few blockchains can provide an execution environment where applications can truly run, leading me to a conclusion that initially felt somewhat unsettling: most chains can record applications, but they cannot support them.

Recently, the price of ICP has skyrocketed, and my timeline has been flooded with related posts, but I am writing this article purely out of technical curiosity - not as any investment advice regarding ICP. To be honest, after such a significant increase, a pullback seems inevitable.
As a seasoned cryptocurrency player, my impression of ICP is basically 'just another consortium chain.' I heard about it a few times years ago, but I didn't pay attention until a few days ago - due to the explosive growth of ICP's Caffeine, I started to take notice.

This year, we launched the 'World Computer Tech Lectures' series with a clear mission: to focus on the groundbreaking technology of the Internet Computer Protocol. In 11 lectures, experts from the DFINITY Foundation delved into the core concepts driving the vision of a 'World Computer.'
