Today’s Learning: Stop-Limit & Stop-Loss Orders

Today I learned about Stop-Limit orders, which help traders manage risk and protect their money.

Here’s what I understood:

🔹 Stop-Loss = Protect yourself from big losses.
• You set a price (Stop) where Binance will automatically trigger your sell order.
• Useful if the market suddenly drops.

🔹 Stop-Limit Order has two prices:
• Stop Price – When this price hits, your order becomes active.
• Limit Price – This is the price you want to sell or buy at.

🔹 Why it’s helpful:
✓ You don’t have to watch charts 24/7
✓ Helps prevent emotional decisions
✓ Protects your profit and reduces risk

Example:
If a coin is at $100 and you want to protect your money, you can set:
• Stop: $95
• Limit: $94
If price falls to $95, Binance will place a sell order at $94.

I realized risk management is more important than profits in trading.
