The Israeli Ministry of Defense announced the confiscation of 187 cryptocurrency wallets that were reportedly used by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran.
According to the agency, approximately $1.5 billion passed through these wallets in #Tether (#USDT ), however, at the time of confiscation, about $1.5 million remained in them.
Company #Elliptic confirmed the receipt of funds to the addresses but noted that a direct connection of all funds to the IRGC has not been established.
Tether has already blocked 39 wallets in cooperation with law enforcement authorities.
