Binance HODLer Airdrop

Binance has launched the

GoPlus Security

(GPS) Airdrop as part of its

HODLer program.

This airdrop is available to users who

staked their BNB into Simple Earn or

On-Chain Yields products between

07:00 on February 19 and 06:59 on

February 25, 2025 (Vietnam time). 

The GPS tokens will be distributed to

users' spot wallets at least one hour

before the listing, which is scheduled

for 20:00 on March 4, 2025 (Vietnam

time).

The tokens will be listed with the "seed

tag" classification, indicating that the

project is in an early development

stage and carries high risks.

Users can earn GPS tokens by holding

BNB and subscribing to Binance's Earn

section products, such as Flexible or

Locked Simple Earn.

The airdrop will not have prior

announcements, so users who

recently

registered their BNB can still

Measures taken against the Market Maker for GPS and Shell due to market irregularities (03-09-2025)

Based on the findings of the investigation into one of the market makers (the “Market Maker”) for GoPlus Security (GPS), we have identified the MyShell (SHELL) project that uses the same Market Maker.

Due to the Market Maker’s misconduct, in order to better protect Binance users, we have taken the following additional measures:

The Market Maker has been deregistered and any further market making activities on Binance are prohibited.

Market Maker confiscated revenue for the purpose of compensating GPS and SHELL users (the detailed compensation plan will be determined and communicated by the respective projects at a later date)

General reminder that all project-authorized market makers on Binance must abide by the following principles and rules:

Place both bid and ask orders

Ensure that the order size is sufficient within the specified depth levels

Maintain a healthy and stable spread for market activity

Ensure that orders remain open for a certain amount of time and avoid market disruption due to high-frequency order placement and cancellation.

Binance will take additional action against any project-authorized market makers who fail to abide by or violate such principles and rules to better protect our users.

Recently Go plus Security aka ( $GPS ) tweet for Compensation criteria & Distribution.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Qualifying Period: Users who made net purchases of GPS tokens between March 4th at 21:00:00 and March 5th at 17:55:59 (UTC+8) on Binance platform

- Net Buyer Definition: Total $GPS tokens purchased minus total $GPS tokens sold during the qualifying period must be positive
Note: Both Spot and Margin users are included in this compensation plan.

Compensation Calculation:

Proportional Distribution Formula:

- Individual Compensation = [User's Net Purchase Value (equivalent in $USDT) ÷ Total Net Purchase Value of All Eligible Users(equivalent in $USDT)] × $2,000,000 USDC

- Net Purchase Value = GPS net buy qty * avg buy price during the period

- GPS net buy qty = Total GPS bought – Total GPS sold
