→ I bought at an average price around $67,000 per BTC.
→ Today BTC is around $49,000. My position is down in dollars.
→ I accumulated 0.019 BTC in that year. At $67k that cost $1,300. At $49k that same 0.019 BTC is worth $949.
If BTC returns to $100k in the future, those 0.019 BTC become $1,900. The math works the other way too.
DCA works because time smooths out price volatility. When the market drops, your weekly $25 buys more sats. When it rises, your portfolio grows faster. The real metric is sats accumulated, not short term P&L.
This is not a story about being lucky. It is a story about sticking to a plan through a bear market. Patience is the only edge retail traders have.
