Franceโs Lise (Lightning Stock Exchange) has officially become the first fully licensed tokenized stock exchange in Europe, after receiving a DLT (Distributed Ledger Technology) license from the French regulator ACPR.
Developed in collaboration with the Banque de France, ECB, ESMA, and AMF, the license allows Lise to operate both as a Multilateral Trading Facility (MTF) and a Central Securities Depository (CSD) โ all on a single blockchain-based platform.
Backed by CACEIS (a subsidiary of Crรฉdit Agricole), BNP Paribas, and Bpifrance, this milestone marks a major step toward on-chain capital markets in Europe. ๐

๐ฅThe CommEX cryptocurrency exchange has issued a statement on the temporary suspension of operations:
๐ค"Dear users, we welcome you! We regret to inform you that after a thorough analysis of the current situation and review of strategic plans, we are forced to suspend the activities of our trading platform," reads the CommEX press release.
