I stared at my screen for about 10 minutes before I could even process this. It’s strange how something so abstract—a perpetual futures contract—can have such a concrete and immediate impact on your life.
Being an MSc student means every single rupee is budgeted. Trading has been my way to bridge the gap, to make ends meet while I pour everything into my education. Today, that bridge collapsed. This loss of over $240 isn't just a setback in my portfolio; it’s a very loud question mark over my head about how I'll manage the rest of the month.
It's a heavy feeling, knowing that one wrong move has put the stability you've worked so hard to build in jeopardy. I'm not sure what the next steps are, but I know I can't let this derail my studies. Just needed to share this with a community that understands. It’s a tough night.
