The blockchain security company PeckShield revealed that a wallet linked to the Hyperliquid platform was drained in a single move, totaling losses of around US$ 21 million in crypto assets.

📉 The funds included:

🪙 17.75M DAI

🧪 3.11M MSYRUPUSDP

🧠 Cause of the attack:

➡️ Leakage of the victim's private key, it was not a failure in the Hyperliquid protocol.

➡️ The hacker moved the funds to Ethereum, splitting them among various addresses to complicate tracking (a tactic known as chain-hopping + obfuscation of traces).
