Let me explain a knowledge point in simple terms. Why couldn't this coin be shorted before? #power made three tops around February 20th at 0.4~0.5, leading retail investors to believe that was the peak. When the coin price reached 0.5 again, they shorted once more, and then it skyrocketed to 2. This pattern has been quite common recently; you can refer to #river , which follows the same trend, as well as #rave , which has not yet experienced a surge. If one day it reaches 0.7, it might look like a good time to short, but be careful not to fall into the trap.
Why am I shorting now? I think the whales might be offloading. Experienced retail investors might check the whale's holdings and changes in the secondary market. Don't be fooled by the over 90% holdings of the top ten; you must exclude the exchange's holdings. It misleads retail investors into thinking the whales haven't sold yet and that the price can still rise. There's also the issue of transferring from one wallet to another, redistributing from concentrated wallets to many small wallets, which is also misleading. Refer to #pipinal .
As for #power , whether or not it is offloading, I can only say it might be selling. I can't be certain, but I have indeed seen the holdings of the top few decreasing. As for whether there's wallet-to-wallet transfer, I can't know for sure. I have made small attempts.
