That character is indeed a villain of the series, Lee Myung-gi, a former cryptocurrency trader, who ran a channel called "MG Coin," where he advised his followers on cryptocurrency investment.
Shortly after, Myung-gi announced a new coin known as "Dalmatian" (everything went wrong from here) and advised everyone to invest every last penny in it (bad, bad, really bad!).
