Btc is the product of eschatology and savior belief.

Eschatology is to preach that the end of the world is coming soon, or in other words, to say that the world is very dark, and then preach that there is a savior who will save us.

BTC uses this trick. First, it says that the 2008 financial crisis was caused by inflation caused by official control of the US dollar exchange rate. This is equivalent to saying that reality is dark and the end of the world is coming. Then, it says that BTC has a limit on the number and can fight inflation. This is equivalent to packaging BTC as a savior.

This routine is not uncommon in history. It should have first appeared in Persia, where Mithraism and Zoroastrianism were both savior beliefs. The Persian king packaged himself as a savior. Invasion and expansion under the banner of a savior is not invasion, but saving all living beings.

Later, the belief in the savior spread westward and influenced Christianity. The last chapter of the Christian Bible, Revelation, predicts the end of the world, and Jesus is the savior.

There are many similar cases. Hong Xiuquan's God Worshipping Society was also a product of the belief in the savior. Stalin also packaged himself as the savior.

The reason why belief in a savior can attract a huge amount of traffic is that human intelligence is naturally sensitive to disasters, so eschatology can easily attract traffic. And if belief in a savior is added to eschatology, the traffic will explode even more.

Human intelligence is naturally sensitive to disasters. The reason for this is that human intelligence is derived from evolution and needs to adapt to the environment.

For example, suppose a primitive man is hunting on the African savannah and sees the grass moving. Will he first assume that there is a lion in the grass, or that the grass was moved by the wind? The correct answer is that he will assume that there is a lion in the grass and turn around and run away. Because even if the grass was just moved by the wind, he will not lose anything if he runs away, as it can be considered as physical exercise. However, if there is a lion in the grass, if he does not run, he will die.

From this example, we can see that in order to adapt to the environment, humans will prioritize the presence of factors in the environment that threaten their own safety.

The theory of the end of the world and the belief in a savior are just the bugs in the human brain that come into play, stirring up the sensitive nerves of human beings, saying that reality is too dark and a savior is needed.

BTC uses the same tactics. They promote that official currency manipulation will lead to an economic crisis, which is equivalent to eschatology, preaching the end of the world. Then, they package BTC as a savior that can replace legal currency to fight against official manipulation.

However, the problem is that the official lack of control does not mean that no one is controlling the market. A large amount of BTC is in the hands of exchanges and mining farms. Exchanges and mining farms can use the BTC in their hands to increase or decrease the market and manipulate the price of the currency.

Therefore, the so-called decentralization of blockchain is actually problematic. If one center is removed, a new center will be formed.
