📣 Hackers hacked the account of actor Dean Norris to promote the fake meme coin DEAN
Dean Norris added that the accusations against him, which are spreading on social media platforms like Reddit, are baseless, as he himself is a victim of fraud and suffers reputational losses.
Some Reddit users suggested that the video in which Norris allegedly promotes DEAN could have been a deepfake or a montage created by artificial intelligence based on out-of-context video.
According to blockchain data analyst DexScreener, on January 25, the market capitalization of DEAN jumped to $8.43 million, but then collapsed by more than 96% — to $60,000.
This is already the second time criminals hacked Norris's account. In November of last year, the actor's page on social network X was used to promote the fraudulent meme coin SCHRADER.
The day before, hackers hacked the account of former Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro to promote the fraudulent token BRAZIL.
