"Chain Detective" ZachXBT published information that the Lazarus Group transferred 5000 ETH stolen from the BYBIT exchange to a new address and began laundering it through the centralized mixer eXch, then converted the funds to Bitcoin via Chainflip.
PANews reported on February 22 that Chainflip, a cross-chain bridge, announced on platform X its intention to strengthen the verification levels of Ethereum proxies to reject suspicious deposits. The corresponding verification mechanism was deployed in BTC and will be applied to ETH subsequently.
