According to Foresight News, the Meme coin launchpad Pond.fun on Linea has been hacked. Users are advised to avoid interacting with the website and related sites efrogs and croak due to potential security risks. The attacker, identified as the project's chief software engineer, has stolen liquidity and project tokens from the smart contract, transferring 64.8 ETH to the privacy protocol Railgun. Pond.fun has reached out to Chainalysis and Elliptic to ensure the hacker cannot pass the Proof of Innocence review and is working with the Linea team to address the incident.
