The unveiling of new season bounty tasks

To implement GAP's focus on providing diverse opportunities for task participants to test their abilities and hone their skills, bounty tasks remain very popular. A total of 11,673 task participants responded to a series of bounty tasks this season.

The following are the bounty tasks with leading registration numbers:

  • Metaversity - 11,076 participants registered for the task

  • Getting Started - 8,872 participants registered for the task

  • Future of Work - 4,241 participants registered for the task

Metaverse University offers a series of bounty tasks that are the most popular this season, rewarding participants for enhancing their professional skills through brief crash courses on productivity tools and techniques, marketing principles, community management strategies, and more. Metaverse University also encourages skilled participants to guide other community members through the 'Metaverse University Apprentice' and 'Metaverse University Mentor' tasks.

Collaboration with 'Future of Work' partners Navigate, Sapien, and FrodoBots offers community members opportunities to explore the latest job opportunities on each platform. Meanwhile, new partners OORT and Ta-da have also joined GAP's ninth season, further enriching the decentralized work experiences available to task participants.

On-chain guilds are gaining momentum

The game-focused on-chain guild participated in guild tasks for Anichess, DeFi Kingdoms, HyperPlay, Immortal Rising 2, Mystery Society, and Nifty Island. Meanwhile, guilds dedicated to nurturing the next generation of Web3 content creators can choose to participate in the 'Global Creator Program' guild tasks. Additionally, guilds are invited to share their stories and experiences as participants in the 'Philippines Metaverse Workers' movement through an exclusive guild task.

With the implementation of various measures to further optimize the user experience for on-chain guild leaders and members, guild activities remain active this season. A total of 61 guilds registered for various guild tasks in the ninth season. These guilds also made full use of their treasury wallets, with the stored digital assets valued at $828,835 by the end of the season.

Several communities have stood out this season among the recently active guilds due to their teamwork, collaborative spirit, and dedication to completing tasks:

  • Sando Gang - 922 active members

  • NFT X-STREET - 863 active members

  • PSG - 704 active members

The final review of the results for the ninth season on-chain guild tasks is underway. Please stay tuned for announcements posted on the X platform.

Richer and higher-quality reward models

A brand new rewards map was launched for task participants who completed challenges from the last season, with prizes including YGG, RON, and AXS tokens. Task participants can increase their rewards by participating in the YGG-RON liquidity mining reward program or through the 'Staking Center,' which offers players higher reward multipliers this season.

Throughout the season, over 2,000 community members staked nearly 1.2 million YGG tokens. This number has increased by 56.88% compared to the 765,000 YGG tokens staked by nearly 1,500 task participants in the eighth season.

The surge in participation indicates growing enthusiasm for GAP's improved reward distribution method. With the announcement of LOL Land during the mid-season of the ninth season, task participants will soon have another way to increase their GAP rewards.

Overall, in GAP's ninth season, YGG further enhanced its industry-leading task platform. Whether through engaging Web3 games, novel decentralized work opportunities, or gamified career development paths, task participants fully leveraged this season to improve themselves alongside their guilds and the broader YGG community.
