When someone exchanges tokens on Osmosis, ProtoRev checks whether an arbitrage opportunity has arisen — that is, a situation where it is possible to buy cheaper and immediately sell at a higher price in other pools within one transaction. If such an opportunity exists, ProtoRev utilizes it.
Earned:
partially accumulated in OSMO tokens, #ATOM , #USDC ;
OSMO — burned daily, reducing the total supply of the token;
this makes OSMO deflationary, i.e., over time it becomes less — which is good for long-term holders.
