Yield Guild Games (YGG) has launched the YGG token on the Abstract chain. Abstract is an Ethereum Layer 2 chain designed to simplify the onboarding process for Web3 through user-centric features. Developed by Igloo Inc., the parent company of the Web3 intellectual property project 'Pudgy Penguins,' Abstract has attracted wide attention from casual gamers, content creators, and cryptocurrency enthusiasts since its mainnet launch in January 2025.
Abstract provides a powerful foundation for Web3 games and more applications through the application of chain abstraction technology, making projects easier to scale across ecosystems. This chain also eliminates many entry barriers by integrating features such as shared key storage, social login, and passkeys. This convenience aligns naturally with YGG's community-centered Web3 gaming philosophy.
The Fat Penguin project has received strong support from the YGG community, especially in its launched Vibes collectible card game (TCG). This card game is included in YGG's Guild Advancement Program (GAP), where players engage with the game mechanics and challenge to climb the leaderboard.
Abstract promotes serving the casual gaming audience with the aim of attracting more Web3 games that appeal to the YGG community to continue developing in the industry chain. With the launch of the YGG token on the Abstract chain, this provides the Abstract community with a new way to interact with YGG, while also helping YGG expand its influence further.
Low wear, scalable, and user-friendly
Community members will be able to exchange the YGG token for other tokens on-chain (such as PENGU tokens) through the Abstract global wallet and the upcoming YGG/ETH trading pair on Uniswap. Abstract's payment service providers (Paymasters) also support gasless payments, making transactions and the overall gaming experience smoother. As Abstract collaborates with more developers, decentralized applications (dapps), and content creators to join the chain, YGG is capturing new growth opportunities by strengthening its presence on-chain.

At the same time, multiple decentralized applications, NFT series, and businesses integrating Web3 features have also launched on the chain, including Myriad, Finalbosu, and Rekt Drinks.
The release of the YGG token on the Abstract chain is its latest development following its expansion to the Base chain by the end of 2024. Currently, the YGG token is circulating on chains such as Base, Ethereum, Polygon, Ronin, and BNB Chain, which have accumulated a growing player base and project ecosystem over the past few years.
