#bnb What is Roam?

Roam is a DePIN project aimed at creating a global, decentralized, and secure Wi-Fi network with a reward mechanism for participants.

Roam uses OpenRoaming technology to allow users to connect automatically without a password; combines eSIM to access global 4G/5G; applies blockchain and decentralized identification (DID/VC) transparently within the $ROAM Token ecosystem.

How does the project work?

Roam operates based on OpenRoaming and blockchain technology, allowing users to connect to free Wi-Fi and device owners to receive rewards in Token.

Users install the Roam App to automatically connect to OpenRoaming supported hotspots, without needing a password. Owners of Roam Miner devices like Rainier MAX60 or Baker MAX30 will receive Roam Points when the device is operational and users access it.

Roam authenticates devices and users via DID, and all connections are encrypted with enterprise-grade privacy protection. The process includes installing the App, connecting to hotspots, declaring and operating the miner device, collecting and converting reward points into $ROAM Tokens for staking or using services within the ecosystem.
