If you don't hold, what is left of your strength?
I held this order to the bottom.
When the price just dropped, I thought,
"It's okay, it's just a slight correction. It will take a while to go back up."
When the price broke support, I thought:
"This is a trap, better cut it quickly."
When the price dropped another 8%, I still thought,
"I've held through worse losses before. Just hold this one."
I didn't cut. I didn't dare to look. I wouldn't admit I was wrong.
And then a losing position got liquidated… leading to a psychological scar that lasted a whole month.
I thought holding was strength. But holding without a plan is... just being disciplined in stupidity.
From then on, I learned that
Being a trader is not about showing loyalty to a wrong position.
