Many young people enter college full of dreams, curiosity, and a desire to learn. Inside, they find new ideas — which is healthy and necessary. The risk arises when learning gives way to automatic militancy, when questioning is no longer allowed, and thinking differently becomes a reason for labeling.
Education is not indoctrination. University is not a factory for activists. It is a space for technical, scientific, and human formation. True higher education strengthens the ability to analyze all sides, form one's own opinion, and respect differences.
The most important transformation that college can provoke is not aesthetic or behavioral — it is intellectual. And this only happens when there is freedom of thought.
