If you carefully read my article about @Vanarchain ($VANRY ), you would know the core narrative is "Layer 1 for AI".
It utilizes NVIDIA's technology to provide high-speed, low-cost blockchain infrastructure for AI applications.
However, there is a more upstream and essential link in the AI industry chain that Vanar cannot achieve.
That is "Computing Power".
Without computing power, AI models cannot run, and data cannot be processed.
That's why, in my AI investment portfolio, I not only heavily invested in Vanar but also allocated its perfect complement - OctaSpace ($OCTA).
🤖 One, Investment Logic: Vanar's Highway and Gas Station
Imagine AI as a sports car.
Vanar ($VANRY): is the highway. It provides the road (blockchain) for sports cars to travel safely and quickly while recording data.
OctaSpace ($OCTA): is the gas station (or engine). It provides the fuel needed for sports cars — GPU computing power.
These two are 'complementary goods', not competitors.
If you are optimistic about Vanar's AI narrative, you must admit: the more AI applications running on the Vanar chain, the more computing power they will need.
This is why we need to layout both tracks simultaneously.
⚡ Two, Project Deep Dive: Crypto Circle Version of AWS + NVIDIA
OctaSpace is a typical representative of the DePIN (Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network) track.
In simple terms, what it does is: collects idle GPUs (graphics cards) from around the world and rents them to those who need to run AI.
1. Real Product Matrix
Many AI coins are just empty shells, but OCTA already has a complete product line:
GPU Leasing: Used for AI model training and graphics rendering.
VPN Services: Decentralized network nodes.
AI Model Hosting: Allowing developers to deploy AI directly.
2. Poor Man's NVIDIA
Currently, an NVIDIA H100 graphics card costs tens of thousands of dollars, which ordinary developers cannot afford.
Renting AWS or Google Cloud is prohibitively expensive.
OctaSpace offers computing power at 50% - 80% cheaper. This is an irresistible temptation for small and medium-sized AI startups.
3. Real Yield
This is the point I value most. OCTA's token holders (node operators) can share real cash flow.
This is not a reward given out by printing money, but income generated by user payments. This is extremely rare in the crypto circle.
💸 Three, Value Discovery: Forgotten Corners
Let's compare the leaders in the DePIN computing power track:
Render ($RNDR): Market cap 3 billion - 4 billion dollars (AI rendering leader).
Akash ($AKT): Market cap 800 million - 1 billion dollars (decentralized cloud leader).
OctaSpace ($OCTA): Market cap is only about 20 million dollars.
Gap Calculation:
3,000,000,000 / 20,000,000 = 150 times
Although RNDR has a Hollywood background and AKT has a longer history, OCTA's technology is not far behind and has a more flexible node mechanism.
Even if OCTA can only reach 1/10 of Akash, which is a market value of 80 million, that is still a 4x increase.
For a project with real income, this odds ratio is highly attractive.
⚠️ Four, Risk Disclosure: Sea of Competition
Of course, high returns come with high risks:
Competition is fierce: The computing power track is very crowded. AIOZ, Golem, Clore.AI are all vying for this piece of cake. OCTA needs to prove its marketing and business development capabilities (which are currently relatively weak).
Technical Threshold: Managing decentralized computing power is difficult; if the network is unstable, customers will drift back to AWS.
Liquidity: Currently mainly on small exchanges, large funds find it difficult to enter and exit (this is also why it hasn't skyrocketed yet).
🧀 Five, Cheese Strategy: Swing Trading Artifact
Why am I introducing OCTA?
Because Vanar is 'steady growth' while OCTA is 'high volatility explosion'.
My operational strategy:
OCTA's price is highly volatile. I use its high beta value; during AI hotspots (such as when NVIDIA releases earnings), OCTA usually rises more sharply than Vanar.
Take profits when OCTA surges.
Reinvest profits back into $VANRY.
Vanar is my base asset, OCTA is my 'hunting tool'.
I use OCTA for peripheral hunting, bringing all the hunted meat (profits) home to feed my Vanar beast.
💬 In-depth discussion:
Do you think DePIN (decentralized computing) can challenge AWS's position?
Or is this just a temporary hype?
