MultiversX announced a collaboration with OpenAI and Stripe to support its Agent Commerce Protocol (ACP), providing infrastructure for AI-based on-chain transactions. According to PANews, the ACP is an open standard that allows AI agents to complete product discovery, purchase, and payment in a chat interface without requiring wallet operations or gas fees. MultiversX has implemented ACP support through open-source adapters and introduced the Relayed v3 protocol, offering native gasless transaction capabilities, allowing users to trade without holding EGLD.
Additionally, MultiversX supports Google's Universal Commerce Protocol (UCP), covering the entire purchasing process, from product discovery to post-sale support.
