In every crypto bull cycle, you need an enemy to explain the previous pain.
Now the narrative says:
That Jane Street manipulated 10 AM with artificial selling pressure = because stopping the pressure = a rise of +10% from an analytical perspective.
But
🔹 No regulatory statement has been issued confirming the existence of proven systematic manipulation.
🔹 The 10 AM movement may be related to session openings, US liquidity, position settlements, or ETF flows.
🔹 Linking the market's rise to an unproven claim may be a causal bias (Post Hoc Bias).
The market doesn't always need a criminal to rise; sometimes it just needs:
🔹 Over-concentration in selling
🔹 Short filtering
🔹 A sudden shift in liquidity
In summary:
So far, there is no public legal evidence proving the 10 AM manipulation narrative.
And if a formal investigation is found later, it will be a completely different event.
But building an investment conviction on a rumor...
It's the fastest way to fall into the trap of narratives.
