Galaxy Digital Purchases Solana Worth Almost Rp5 Trillion in a Day
Galaxy Digital is reported to have bought Solana (SOL) worth US$300 million (±Rp4.9 trillion) within the last 24 hours through Coinbase, Binance, and Bybit. Arkham Intelligence data recorded 13 transactions totaling 1.24 million SOL.
In the last five days, Galaxy's accumulation has reached 6.5 million SOL or worth US$1.57 billion, most of which is stored in the Fireblocks custodian wallet.
This massive purchase follows a private investment of US$1.65 billion in Forward Industries—the treasury company for Solana—led by Galaxy along with Jump Crypto and Multicoin Capital. From that total, more than US$300 million comes from the three of them.
Galaxy CEO, Mike Novogratz, referred to this momentum as the "Solana season," even though the price of SOL has actually dropped by 2.5% to US$242 on Monday (15/09) morning.
