Newbies in the crypto world, don't misuse AI. Let me share a few pitfalls I've encountered.
It's amazing, but I've realized a scary truth: I'm not some technical expert, haha, "Shocking!:
AI might be turning into the biggest trap for newbies in the crypto world.
---
1. I once asked AI, "What coins can I buy to make money?"
Really, don't laugh. When I was losing money at the beginning, I was desperate and spent 50 bucks to buy a membership for some "AI trading bot."
And then?
I bought many coins based on its recommendations, thinking to test it out, saying, "AI analysis guarantees a rise."
As expected, not long after, the coins went to zero. Some lasted 3 days, others just a few minutes.
🙃
2. Trusting AI's price predictions
For a while, I was obsessed with asking GPT, "Will BTC rise or fall next?"
It answered confidently, with phrases like, "Technical indicators show support levels," and "Macroeconomic factors are favorable."
I followed along with my small investments, and then I lost a lot of money.
Later, I realized—if AI could predict prices, it would have been financially free long ago, why would it need to write prompts here?
3. Using AI to write content gets flagged by platforms
This was a pitfall I encountered when posting articles on my public account.
I had GPT help me write three "beginner guides," and the reading volume was indeed high.
But later I received a notification saying that my "AI content percentage was too high," and those three articles were not counted.
Many platforms are now very strict about AI content; exceeding 30% will lower your ranking.
---
I'm not saying AI is useless. What AI can genuinely help newbies with is:
1. Helping you understand concepts
What are "contracts," "leverage," "Gas fees"—asking AI is much better than Baidu, and it explains in simple terms.
2. Helping you analyze trades
Send your trade records to AI and let it help you analyze where you went wrong; it’s more useful than just guessing.
3. Helping you write outlines
You can have AI help you structure your framework, but you must write the content in your own words; don’t just copy and paste.
These are what I think an ordinary person can temporarily do with AI. Being anxious won’t help; consuming tokens is really expensive. If you have spare money, you can deeply experience it; otherwise, it's better to wait a bit.
---
In short, AI is a tool, not a deity.
It can't help you make money, nor can it help you predict the future.
The only one who can help you is yourself by spending time learning and reviewing.
