The Sui blockchain has introduced its native stablecoin, USDsui, which is issued by Bridge, a company recently acquired by Stripe. According to NS3.AI, the yield generated from the assets backing USDsui will be utilized to bolster the Sui ecosystem. This will be achieved by either buying back and burning SUI tokens or by incentivizing decentralized finance (DeFi) activities. This approach marks a departure from the traditional model of stablecoin issuers, who typically retain all generated profits.
