Why download the APK?

In simple terms: The Binance APP cannot be found in the app store, so you need to download the installation package from the official website.

What is an APK? It's the installation package for Android phones, just like a .exe file on a computer.

Download steps (follow along)

Step 1: Open your phone's browser

  • Not WeChat! Not QQ!

  • Find the built-in "Browser" or "Chrome" APP on your phone

  • Can't find it? Just open any webpage

Step 2: Copy this link

  • Long press the link above

  • Click "Copy"

Step 3: Open in the browser

  • Paste in the browser's address bar

  • Press "Go" or "Search"

  • Wait a few seconds

Step 4: Click on download

  • After the webpage opens, you will see the download button

  • Click once

  • Wait for the download (about 1-3 minutes, depending on internet speed)

Step 5: Find the downloaded file

  • After downloading, open "File Manager"

  • Click on the "Download" folder

  • Find a file named "BNApp"

Installation steps (important coming up)

Step 6: Click on the installation package

  • Click on the file you just downloaded

  • At this moment! The focus is coming!

Step 7: A warning will pop up (don't panic)

You will see a prompt like this:

  • "This application may have risks"

  • "Virus detected"

  • "Installation not recommended"

Don't be afraid! This is normal!

Why? Because the phone system only trusts apps from the app store, others will raise warnings. But Binance is legitimate, used by 120 million people globally, safe!

What to do? Check your phone brand:

If it's a Huawei/Honor phone

You will see a red warning saying "This application contains risks."

Do this:

  1. Click "Understand Risks" (below the warning)

  2. Check "I understand the risks, continue installation"

  3. Click "Continue installation"

If it still doesn't work:

  1. Exit installation

  2. Open your phone's "Settings"

  3. Find "System and Updates"

  4. Find "Pure Mode"

  5. Click "Exit"

  6. Re-click the APK file to install

If it's a Xiaomi/Redmi phone

You will see a red countdown (10 seconds, 9 seconds...)

Do this:

  1. Ignore the countdown

  2. Click the "Settings" icon in the top right corner (gear ⚙️)

  3. Turn on the switch for "Allow installation of this application"

  4. Wait for the countdown to finish

  5. Click "Authorize this installation"

If it's an OPPO/vivo/OnePlus phone

Will require password verification

Do this:

  1. Enter your lock screen password

  2. No matter what warning pops up

  3. Select "Continue installation" or "Ignore risk and install"

If it's a Samsung phone

Relatively simpler:

  1. Click "Settings"

  2. Allow installation from the browser

  3. Go back to continue installation

Step 8: Wait for the installation to complete

  • See "Installation successful"

  • Click "Open"

Why is Apple also making changes?

Because the Chinese App Store has removed Binance, you need to use a Hong Kong or Taiwan Apple ID to download.

Method 1: Register for a Hong Kong Apple ID (free but troublesome)

Step 1: Sign out of the current Apple ID

  1. Open the App Store (the blue A icon)

  2. Click on your profile picture in the top right corner

  3. Scroll to the bottom

  4. Click "Sign Out"

Step 2: Register a new Apple ID

  1. Open in your mobile browser (Safari): appleid.apple.com

  2. Click "Create your Apple ID"

  3. Key point: Select "Hong Kong" or "Taiwan" for the country

  4. Fill in your email (use a new one that hasn't registered with Apple)

  5. Set a password (remember it!)

  6. Fill in security questions

  7. Complete verification

Step 3: Download Binance with the new ID

  1. Open the App Store

  2. Log in with the newly registered Hong Kong ID

  3. Search "Binance"

  4. Find the logo that is yellow and black

  5. Confirm the developer is "Binance LTD"

  6. Click "Get" to download

Step 4: After downloading, you can switch back to the original ID

  • Binance APP is still available

  • Change back to Hong Kong ID during the update
