First rule: Volume reflects sentiment
Rising fast and falling slow, it’s likely that the market maker is accumulating. Don’t panic and run during a fast rise and slow fall, the real top is when there is a large volume increase followed by a waterfall drop; that is the signal for the market maker to harvest.
Second rule: Flash crashes are the final blow
Falling fast and rising slow, mostly it’s the market maker selling off. Slow rebounds after a flash crash are not opportunities but the final blow. Don’t fantasize “Can it still fall after dropping so much?” — it can.
Third rule: A lack of volume at highs is scary
A volume increase at the top doesn’t necessarily mean an end, but a lack of volume at highs is dangerous. A dead silence at high levels with no volume is truly the eve of a crash.
Fourth rule: Look for sustainability at the bottom
Don’t rush in when there is a volume increase at the bottom; a single volume spike might be bait. A volume increase after consecutive shrinking and oscillations is the real signal to build a position.
Fifth rule: K-line is the result, volume is the thermometer
Trading cryptocurrency is about emotion, and all emotions are reflected in trading volume. Volume shrinking means no one is playing; volume exploding means funds are flowing in.
Sixth rule: Nothingness is the highest realm
No attachment, dare to be in cash; no greed, don’t chase highs; no fear, dare to bottom fish.
