TRUMP said: “WE CAN USE OUR MAXIMUM STRENGTH IF IRAN DOES NOT STOP THE WAR.”

But what weapon would that be? Space laser? Destructive satellites? Let's separate fiction from reality.

1️⃣ Military lasers exist, but do not destroy cities ⚡

Today, lasers are used for defense, not for mass attack:

HELIOS – 60 kW naval laser, destroys drones and small boats

Iron Beam – Israeli system against rockets and drones

They:

They burn metal or sensors

They shoot down drones

They intercept projectiles

💡 But they are millions of times weaker than a nuclear bomb.

2️⃣ Space lasers: just ideas from the Cold War 🌌

In the 80s, the "Star Wars" program tried to create lasers in orbit:

Zenith Star – chemical laser to destroy missiles (never launched)

Project Excalibur – experimental nuclear laser (not operational)

⚡ Even so, it only targeted missiles, not cities.

3️⃣ Why destroying a city with a laser is almost impossible 🚫

Absurd energy: a nuclear bomb releases trillions of watts in seconds

Earth's atmosphere: clouds, vapor, and turbulence scatter the beam

Precision: a satellite at 7–8 km/s would have difficulty keeping the target fixed

International treaties: weapons of mass destruction in space are prohibited

4️⃣ The "most realistic" orbital weapon (but still theoretical) 🛰️

"Rods from God" – giant tungsten rods falling from space:

Impact with energy of a small nuclear bomb

No radiation

Never built, but considered more plausible than space lasers

💡 Conclusion

When Trump talks about "maximum force", don't think of total destruction lasers.

Today, only nuclear weapons have the real power to destroy cities, while lasers and satellites remain experimental or defensive.
