What is the Fear & Greed Index? 😨📊
The Crypto Fear & Greed Index is a very popular tool that measures the emotions and sentiment of investors in the crypto market (mostly Bitcoin). It gives a score from 0 to 100:
0 = Extreme Fear → People are very scared, panic selling is happening, the market is full of negative vibes.
25-49 = Fear → There is only fear, not extreme, people are cautious.
50 = Neutral → The market is completely balanced, neither too much fear nor too much excitement.
51-74 = Greed → People are becoming greedy, more optimism, buying pressure.
75-100 = Extreme Greed → Full FOMO mode, sab log overbuy kar rahe hote hain, correction ka khatra bohot zyada.
Yeh kaise calculate hota hai?
Yeh index kuch main cheezon ko mila kar banaya jata hai :
Volatility (25%) → Price mein kitna up-down ho raha hai
Market Momentum/Volume (25%) → Trading volume aur speed kitni hai
Social Media (15%) → X/Twitter pe log kya bol rahe hain
Bitcoin Dominance (10%) → Bitcoin ka total market share kitna hai
Google Trends (10%) → Log kya search kar rahe hain (jaise "bitcoin crash" ya "buy bitcoin")

Jab Extreme Fear ho (jaise abhi 12-19 ke aas paas) → Market oversold ho sakta hai, yani bohot sasta ho gaya hai. History se dekha jaye to aise low levels se aksar bounce ya recovery shuru hoti hai. Is liye bohot log isko "buy the fear" ka chance maante hain.
Jab Extreme Greed ho → Market overbought, log boht excited, bubble ban sakta hai, jaldi hi dip ya correction aa sakta hai.
