The White House adds crypto and blockchain to the U.S. cybersecurity strategy for the first time
In a new strategy document, the White House explicitly mentions crypto and blockchain, saying these technologies should be “protected and secured.”
But there’s a flip side — a key pillar also vows to “eradicate criminal infrastructure and cut off its financial off-ramps.”
Combined with a new order targeting transnational cybercrime, this could become a basis for tougher pressure on mixers, privacy coins, and unregulated cash-out services.
