🚨 STOCK EXCHANGES COULD RUN ON BLOCKCHAIN

CFTC Chair Mike Selig says on-chain markets could soon go mainstream in the United States as crypto legislation moves closer to becoming law.

His goal is to create a “permissionless innovation” environment, where builders don’t need to ask regulators for approval every time they launch something new.

He also says there’s no reason major exchanges like NYSE, Nasdaq, or CME couldn’t run markets on blockchain infrastructure, just as reliably as today’s traditional databases.

In other words, the future may not just be crypto assets on blockchain…

It could be the entire financial market moving on-chain.
