Many people struggle with a question when discussing blockchain: Should data be transparent or private?
In fact, these two things do not necessarily conflict.
Recently, I have been paying attention to @MidnightNetwork , which is trying to solve this contradiction. It uses zero-knowledge proof (ZK) technology to allow data on the chain to be verified without needing to be fully public. Simply put, data that needs to be verified can be verified, but data that should not be seen can still be protected.
This is actually quite crucial. Because many real application scenarios, such as enterprise data, identity information, and commercial transactions, cannot completely "run naked" on the chain. Without privacy protection, it is difficult for blockchain to truly enter the mainstream business world.
What Midnight Network wants to do is to combine privacy protection + verifiability + practicality, allowing developers to build truly actionable applications without sacrificing data ownership.
The token in the ecosystem $NIGHT has thus become an important part of the entire network. It is not just a simple token, but more like the core fuel that drives this privacy computing network.
Now, many people are discussing ZK narratives, but there are not many projects that truly combine privacy, compliance, and application.
So I will continue to pay attention to the development of @MidnightNetwork and see how much value $NIGHT can release in the future ecosystem.
