Over the years, the Cardano ecosystem has had many different projects and tokens. But what's quite interesting is that until recently, there hadn't been a Cardano native token listed on Binance. And then that changed when $NIGHT – the token of @MidnightNetwork Midnight Network – became the first Cardano token to be listed on the largest exchange in the world.

If you look closer, this is not just a simple listing.

Cardano is quite a large ecosystem with hundreds of projects in development. However, Binance chose $NIGHT – a token associated with Midnight Network, a blockchain focused on privacy and zero-knowledge technology.

This may indicate that Binance is paying more attention to the privacy narrative in crypto.

Midnight Network is not just about anonymous transactions. Their goal is to build what is called 'rational privacy' – which means only disclosing necessary data while still protecting sensitive information. This approach is quite different from many traditional blockchains that prioritize complete transparency.

In addition, Midnight is also designed to function as a privacy layer for the Cardano ecosystem, allowing applications to build more complex data security features.

Therefore, the fact that $NIGHT has become the first Cardano token to be listed on Binance may not only be a milestone for this project, but also a sign that privacy infrastructure is gradually becoming a noteworthy narrative in the new crypto cycle.

The interesting question is:

Is this just a single listing,

or is it the beginning for many other Cardano projects to enter Binance in the future?

What do you think about this move by Binance?
