I think the most underrated problem in privacy systems is not the proof. It is what happens after the proof.
A credential verified on Tuesday. A status that changes on Thursday. An application still running on Tuesday's answer by Friday. The proof was never wrong. It just got old. And nobody owned the job of killing it when the underlying reality moved.
Midnight makes identity verification less invasive. That is genuinely valuable. But privacy does not stop identity from aging. That is the harder problem sitting right behind the clean version of the story.
