The NIGHT token is the native token and the public governance token, not anonymous, of the Midnight Network, a data security blockchain based on Cardano. NIGHT is used for staking to secure the network, governance, and generating DUST - a necessary resource for secure transactions.
Examples of using (Utility) of the NIGHT token:
Staking: Hold and stake NIGHT to secure the Midnight network, according to Binance.
Governance: Participate in voting on network development decisions, as posted on blog.mexc.com.
Create DUST: NIGHT creates the DUST token, which is used to pay transaction fees, especially for private (shielded) transactions.
Transaction: NIGHT is an "unshielded" (public) token, used for trading on exchanges, similar to the information on GOONUS.
