All development and testing of Foundry were conducted in a mobile environment (Termux), which adds an extra level of merit to the optimization of the workflow...
1. The Challenge
Many consider WETH9 to be the immutable contract of Ethereum. However, security is not static. I decided to subject my implementation, AionicoToken (v5.1), to a comparative analysis against the giant, using advanced static auditing and industrial-class stress testing.
2. The Results (Static Audit)
Using SolidityScan, the numbers are clear:
WETH9 Score: 85.06 (GREAT)
AionicoToken Score: 92.26 (EXCELLENT)
Why is Aionico superior?
While WETH9 remains anchored in Solidity v0.5.17, Aionico uses v0.8.29. This is not just a number; it implies native protections against overflows, custom errors for gas efficiency, and an architecture designed for Aionica Lab's post-quantum ecosystem.
3. Mathematical Shielding (Invariant Testing)
I did not stop during the scanning. I subjected Aionico to Invariant Testing with Foundry, simulating years of activity and thousands of random transactions in seconds.
Result: 0 Reverts. 0 Solvency Failures.
Solvency Equation: The balance of the contract is, at all times, exactly equal to the sum of its reserve and vesting pools. The precision is 1 wei after 730 days of simulated micro-claims.
4. Conclusion
Trust in DeFi should not be based solely on longevity, but on verifiability. Aionica demonstrates that it is possible to build complex systems with the security of a simple system, surpassing the historical benchmarks of the network.
