The Night project is really doing practical work.

To be honest, there are quite a few people criticizing Night, but I actually think it is one of the few projects in the privacy track that is genuinely tackling hard problems.

Putting aside the issues with the coin price, just looking at the ShieldUSD suite of privacy stablecoin components, being able to deliver such a complete answer during the technical validation phase has already left many projects that only talk big far behind. It hasn’t taken the extreme anonymous hacker route but has found a balance between programmable privacy and compliant finance, which is the direction that can truly be implemented—after all, if Web3 wants to enter traditional institutions, it cannot avoid the hurdle of compliance.

Previously, I watched their testnet progress, and even the high net worth data private exchange channels are running tests. This isn't something that can be boasted about with just a press release. Even though on-chain applications haven't exploded yet, at least the foundation is solid, unlike some projects that haven't even finished writing the core code before they start pumping and cutting leeks.

@MidnightNetwork To talk about governance again, although there are recent controversies in the ecosystem and a need for re-voting, at least it shows that the community is really speaking out, and the project team isn't hiding problems and playing dead. This kind of decentralized tug-of-war, in fact, has more long-term viability than a dictatorial project, as retail investors still have a chance to participate in decision-making, rather than being led by the project team.

Stop always focusing on the short-term fluctuations of unlocking sell pressure.

$NIGHT The mainnet timeline of Night and the compliant privacy business closed loop are the real anchors that can support long-term valuation. Once the mainnet is opened, as long as real business flow can run, and Gas consumption keeps up, the current selling pressure may instead become an opportunity to get in.

Ultimately, the crypto space is too impetuous; everyone is only focused on whether they can quickly exchange for USDT, forgetting that good projects are always brewed over time. At least Night is seriously working on technology and building the ecosystem, which is already much stronger than 90% of air projects.
