The cryptocurrency world was originally a paradise for insider traders, and now with the arrival of a prediction market, it's simply a lolita island in paradise. Yesterday's article mentioned that it could not be the last hope for the cryptocurrency world.

I repeatedly question the prediction market, saying it plays a liquidity relay race, essentially a harvesting loop from financing to token issuance: Angel round ➤ Series A ➤ Series B ➤ …… ➤ TGE for retail investors.

What sets it apart from other conspiracy coins is its narrative of ' +12 chasing 8', which is epic in scale. It plays big and has already made a fortune at the institutional financing level, so it is not in a hurry to harvest retail investors, but that day will certainly come.

Currently, PloyMarket's turnover last year was only 21.5B, equivalent to the level of a medium-sized DeFi, and cannot be compared with exchanges or aggregators, only equivalent to 1/400 of Binance and 1/50 of Jupiter.

But the P/S valuation multiple (valuation / annual trading volume):
- Polymarket: 11.6B / 21.5B ≈ 0.54x (valuation is 54% of annual turnover)
- Jupiter: 1.08B / 1000B ≈ 0.001x (0.108%)
- BNB: 85B / 34000B ≈ 0.0025x

PM's valuation multiple is 500 times that of Jupiter and 216 times that of BNB! It is truly a 'premium monster'.

Why calculate using turnover? Because turnover is a very important data point; it relates to the amount of your capital, which is the user's treasury. Of course, some prediction market orders have long time spans and longer lock-up periods, but the scale is indeed vastly different.

In terms of profitability, PM is still in a loss state, with a net profit of 0 in 2025. It is said that the main focus is on ecological expansion, but for such a cash flow gambling platform that purely takes a cut, I really cannot understand how it could be losing money.

And PM founder Shayne Coplan officially became the world's youngest self-made billionaire in October 2025, when he was only 27 years old.

The rich have already become rich, and now it's time for the next group of people to get rich. Once the coins are issued, countless billionaires will be created. And these people are definitely not retail investors.

So, for the many KOLs building prediction markets, maybe the prediction market is really your last wave of wealth creation opportunity. Of course, I mean using your influence to help create exit liquidity. If you don't use your influence to create some insider predictions while there is liquidity now, the retail investors will eventually be worn out.

The above are all personal biases, the pants have been taken off, welcome to criticize!
